Donostia - San Sebastián is located in the northeast of the Spanish Basque Country: 110 km from Bilbao, 500 km from Madrid. Getting here. The closest major airport is Bilbao (BIO), with direct flights to a number of cities in Europe. From Bilbao airport, there are direct buses to San Sebastian with one service per hour. The ride is 80 minutes. The bus stop is right outside the main terminal.
